Our Nurse Team at Rowe Avenue Surgery, PeacehavenPractice Staff - Nurses and Healthcare Assistants

We have a team of dedicated Nurses and Healthcare Assistants working at Rowe Avenue Surgery:

Practice Nurses:

Janet Byrne BSc(Hons) RGN DN CNP, Senior Practice Nurse
Janet Trained at Charing Cross Hospital in the 1980s. Returned to nursing in 1999 having had a break to look after children and worked as a District Nurse before entering General Practice Nursing in 2006. She has developed specialisms in women's health, diabetes, respiratory nursing, wounds, tissue viability and management. She will be studying to be a nurse educator over the coming year part-time at Kings College in London.  Janet is a nurse mentor and participates in training both pre and post registration nurses.

Katy Lindfield-Butler RGN
Katy qualified as a Nurse from Oxford Brookes University in 1997 and after working in Acute Medicine for 2 years, spent 4 years nursing in Australia and New Zealand. In 2003 she moved to Brighton, working at Royal Sussex County Hospital in A&E and Cardiology. Since becoming a Practice Nurse in 2006, Katy has developed a special interest in Women's health and completed the Contraception and Sexual Health qualification in 2010.

Amy Hogg RGN BSc(Hons) 2016
Amy joined our nursing team from the Royal Sussex County Hospital where she worked on a surgical ward. Since working at the surgery Amy has completed her degree in nursing and specialist diabetes training.  Amy is also the champion for Dementia Golden Ticket at the Practice.

Felicia Peters RGN
Felicia joined the nursing team at Rowe Avenue Surgery April 2015 having worked at other Practices as a Practice Nurse and previous experience as a School Nurse.

Sally Scott  RGN

Sally returned to nursing in 2016 having previously worked in Health Visiting.



The practice nurses are supported by two phlebotomists. Blood test clinics are held on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings.
